Winter in Miami

IMG_3475

So we’re midway through November and Miami is still a whopping 80 something degrees. Ay dios mio. We’re handling #WinterInMiami the best way we know how, by hitting the beach! We drove over to Key Biscayne, a barrier island off the coast of Miami-Dade County. Us Miamians refer to it as “The Key,” and it’s a great alternative to the very crowded and touristy Miami Beach. All you have to do is pay $1.75 for the Sunpass toll and Key Biscayne is all yours to explore!

Some of our favorite places to check out in Key Biscayne are:

Landmarks: Bill Baggs State Park & Cape Florida Lighthouse, Miami Marine Stadium, Crandon Park, and Stiltsville.

Restaurants: Sir Pizza, Rusty Pelican, Donut Gallery Diner, Kazumi Japanese, The Wetlab, and Boater’s Grill.

Attractions: Miami Seaquarium

In these photos we sported matching bikini’s and rocked these gorgeous, handmade halo’s by Mermaid Halo Boutique. Are you a brand looking to showcase your goodies? Shoot us an email at NolanTwinsBooking@gmail.com to collab.

Shop the look: Liz’s Halo, Julia’s Halo, Bikini’s

All our twin love, xo

  1. 12.5 years ago a cruise ship disaster resulted in a quick change of venue for our wedding ceremony. Instead of getting married aboard the ship we got married at The Rusty Pelican. So glad to hear it’s still open! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy Key Biscayne!
